THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION to satisfy the Governments requirement for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only publication. A written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M6700109Q0007 is issued as required as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for all qualified small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 423610, and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J061. LINE ITEM #0001: PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND MAINTAIN BATTERIES FOR UPS SYSTEM FOR A PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS; LOCATION: VARIOUS BUILDINGS ABOARD MCB CAMP LEJEUNE AND MCAS A! IR STATION, NORTH CAROLINA. The Statement of Work is in (Attachment 1), and includes building names and numbers. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - - Commercial Items The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
