- A MARKET SURVEY is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. If your firm is a certified HUBZONE, 8A, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately. The proposed project is for the renovation and addition of a laboratory at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. This project will consist of a total of 147, 980 square feet of new and renovated space with approximately 56,360 gross square feet of renovated laboratory space and approximately 91,620 gross square foot of new construction. The renovated spaces will include clean rooms and general lab space. The new construction will include administrative space, a conference center, laboratories, an indoor anechoic RF chamber, an outdoor range and a vehicle storage building. The acquisition strategy will be design/ build, and the estimated award date is February 2009. Contract duration is estimated at 730 days. The estimated cost range is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00. NAICS is 236220. All interested certified HUBZONE, 8A, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors should respond to this survey by email NLT Nov 3, 2008, 4:00 pm, local time. Responses should include: (1) Identification and verification of the companys small business status. (2) The level of performance and payment bonding capacity that the company could attain for the proposed project. (3) Descriptions of Experience - provide descriptions of projects that are substantially complete or completed within the last five years which are similar to this project in size, scope, and dollar value. Projects considered similar in scope to this project include construction of administrative office buildings with two or more stories. With each project experience provided, include the date when the project was completed or will be complete, location of the project, contract amount and square footage of the project, the portion and percentage of work that was self performed, whether the project was design/build or not, and a description of how the experience relates to the proposed project.
