- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) #F4D3D98275A001. Submit written offers - quote template provided upon request. Oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (www.bpn.gov). This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-27 and DFARS Change Notice 20081020. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 238990 - All Other Specialty Trade Contractors and Size Standard $13M apply to this procurement. This contract will be a Firm Fixed Price. Statement of Work Repair Water Well to Full Operation Facility No.: 22398 Vandenberg, Air Force Base, California 6 October 2008 The contract shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, personnel, and supervision necessary to repair and/or replace key components to the well system operational requirements. 1) The below list of steps are not in any mandatory order. 2) The contract shall disconnect power and remove well # 6 surface pump motor and controls for access to ground well. 3) The contractor shall pull and inspect operational conditions of pump shaft (380 feet). 4) The contractor shall pull and inspect operational conditions of turbine pump (380 feet). 5) The contractor shall pull and inspect 480 feel of well piping column for operational condition. 6) The contractor shall repair/replace 480 feet of well piping column 7) The contractor shall repair/replace turbine pumps to full operational status 8) The contractor shall re-connect turbine pumps to full operational status. 9) The contractor shall re-connect 380 feet of repaired/replaced pump shaft. 10) The contractor shall re-connect well # 6 surface pump motor and controls 11) The contractor is required to test and certify full operations of well # 6 and provide written operational report and hydraulic draw down data. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, quotes will be evaluated on price. FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal.
