Description

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Medicare Hearing and Appeals through the Program Support Center, plans to award a 12 month sole source simplified acquisition in accordance with Parts 12 and 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation to Miami Parking System, 190 NE 3rd Street, Miami, FL 33132-2055. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide monthly parking permits for the Office of Medicare Hearing and Appeals staff in 100 SE 2ND St, Miami FL. The building has a garage facility that is available to Tenants for monthy fee owned and administered only by the City of Miami Parking Authority (MPA). Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals provide parking space for a total of twenty-five parking spaces. Miami Parking System owns and operates the parking facilities and is the only available source for parking in this area. The period of performance will for 12 months. THE PROPOSED SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION ACTION IS FOR SUPPLIES AND SERVICES FOR WHICH THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1. INTERESTED PERSONS MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT OR SUBMIT PROPOSALS WITHIN 7 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF PUBLICATION OF THE NOTICE. A DETERMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO COMPETE THIS PROPOSED SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITIONS BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL NORMALLY BE CONSIDERED SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING WHETHER TO CONDUCT A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT.
