Description
Replacement 3D TEE probe which must be compatible with a Philips IE 33 Ultrasound System and provide LIVE 3D IMAGING.The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Healthcare System, Gainesville, FL intends to negotiate and procure on a sole source basis a replacement 3D TEE probe. The probe must be compatible with a Philips IE 33 Ultrasound System, and MUST be capable of LIVE 3D IMAGE ACQUISITION. Philips Medical System N. A., is located at 2100 Bothell Everett Highway, P. O. Box 3003 Bothell, WA 98041-3003. This vital replacement equipment is for the VA Medical Center ECHO Lab, Gainesville, FL. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other vendor or product will satisfy agency requirements. To the best of our knowledge Philips Medical Systems N. A. is the only company that can provide this specific replacement equipment. The 3D TEE probe must be compatible with a Philips IE 33 Ultrasound system and is the only product approved for replacement use, (NAICS 334510). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any vendor that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the NF/SG VHS will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Philips Medical System N. A. as noted herein. Cost associated with the preparation and submission of information and/or any follow-up information requests are the responsibility of the vendor and these costs will not be reimbursed by the Government.
