Description
United States Government The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency Notice of Intent to Compete a Succeeding Lease Requirement: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a bureau of the U.S. Department of Treasury, occupies office space in Chicago, Illinois under a lease that expires in the Winter of 2009. The OCC seeks to lease office and related space in approximately 42,000-45,000 BOMA rentable square feet of contiguous space. The OCC will relocate if consideration of the economics involved and other factors are favorable. The cost of moving, alterations, occupant agency mission, among other items, will be considered when deciding to relocate. Location: The building must be located within the following boundaries of Chicago: Wacker Drive to the North; Dearborn Street to the East, Harrison Street to the South, and Clinton Street to the West. Term: Lease term will be for five (5) years with termination options at years three (3) and four (4). Occupancy: Space should be ready for occupancy January 1, 2010. Owners & Authorized Agents: Expressions of interest should be submitted to the following address within 5 calendar days from the date of this advertisement and should include the following information: 1.Building name and address 2.Available rentable and usable square footage and rate per rentable and usable square foot 3.Method of measurement for the space 4.Common area factor 5.Date space is available 6.Proposed floor 7.Owner’s name and address and written statement from owner that offeror has legal authority to provide information on the property.
