- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 7, Network Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with White Conveyors, Inc; for Preventive Maintenance and repairs on the laundry conveyor system at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, Tuscaloosa AL. The NAICS code is 811310 and size standard is $7.0 million. The contract period will be from October 25, 2008 through December 31, 2009. This Notice of intent is Not a REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties that can provide similar services or equal product must submit their technical specifications of product or services, past performance information, price and delivery time, detailing how their services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Specialist via e-mail or fax at 478-274-5616. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
