- Description
- The United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), Office of Children's Health Protection and Environmental Education (OCHP), anticipates conducting a full and open competition for mission support services for its Child and Aging Health Protection Division. The work performed by the Contractor shall include scientific, medical, economic, technical, analytical and statistical support for strategic planning efforts; training, public education, outreach, technology transfer and communications with other EPA offices, states, Tribes, municipalities, local governments and the public; peer consultation and peer review support services consistent with the Agency Peer Review Policy; support for evaluating cross-media and multi-Agency scientific, medical and technical guidance, guidelines, policies, and practices to ensure the goals of protecting children and older adults are addressed; and develop and update of Web-based information transfer systems. This procurement will be conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541611, Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. The small business Size Standard is $7.0 Million. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be posted on the Internet on or about November 5, 2008. Proposals shall be due approximately thirty (30) days after the RFP issuance date. The anticipated contract type is cost-plus-fixed fee, level of effort with work ordered through work assignments. The period of performance is expected to be one base year with four (4) one-year option periods. The estimated level of effort for each period is 13,247 hours.
