- REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration is interested in expanding by a maximum of 20,000 ANSI/BOMA square feet (ABOASF) of Class A office space and specialized space (SCIF accredited) for the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Government awarded a lease for 10 years, 5 years firm term for 40,000 ABOASF at 3016 Boulders Court, Charlottesville, Virginia under GSA lease number GS-03B-08312. Full occupancy is expected by February 2009. To meet the agency’s requirements, the expansion space must be contiguous all in one building. The Government will consider relocation if economically advantageous to the Government. The Government will consider agency mission requirements, the cost of moving from the existing location, alterations, rental obligations or cost of buyout, etc., when deciding whether it should relocate. WRITTEN EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Building Name and Address Rentable and Usable Square footage and rental rate List of building services provided Date of Space availability SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: •Approximately 60,000 of SCIF accredited space •If the sum of this space, plus any other DOD agencies, plus any DOD contractors with uniform personnel will occupy greater than 25% of the total building, space must comply with the Unified Facility Criteria (UFC 4-010-01) available on line from Whole Building Design Guide www.wbdg.org, which includes parking setbacks and parking control, blast resistant windows and structure, and progressive collapse for facilities three stories or taller. •TEMPEST rated •Level III fiber network SPACE NEEDED BY: As early as May 2009 SUBMIT BY: Friday, October 31, 2008 Submissions by other than the owner of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of space.
