- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT, Per FAR 6.302-1, it is the Government’s intent to award a sole source contract to City of McCall, McCall, Idaho. This SUBJECT procurement will be for operating and maintaining the Forest Service-constructed taxiway on the west side of McCall Airport, McCall, Idaho. Contract time will be base year with 4 option renewal year periods. City of McCall is our intended sole source due to access of the taxiway to the Smokejumper Base located in McCall, Idaho. Taxiway is located on the west side of airport and services the Smokejumper Base at the airport location. There is no other responsive source due to the location of the Smokejumper Base, taxiway location, and large aircraft used primarily by the Forest Service. This is not a formal solicitation. This notice constitutes the only notice. The Government encourages all interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement to submit, in writing, complete information describing their ability to meet said requirement. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative written responses are received by 11/05/08, a sole source contract will be awarded to City of McCall, Idaho.
