- The purpose of this order is to support Force Reconnaissance Company to initial operational capability. The company is due to complete a vital training mission, beginning 1 November 2008. If the items are not received on the required delivery date the Marines will receive no value from the exercise. THIS COMBINED SYNOPSIS/REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) is to satisfy the government's requirement for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received must be considered by the agency.
