- Description: U.S. GOVERNMENT in competing an existing leased location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Requirement: The U.S. General Services Administration currently occupies 44,450 rentable square feet of first-class office space in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Government will consider alternate locations if economically advantageous to the Government. All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Relocation costs will be evaluated. Other factors used in the evaluation are, but not limited to: telecommunication costs, security enhancements, etc. The impact on the agency’s mission will also be assessed. This is not a solicitation for offers, nor a request for proposals. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred as a result of this advertisement. Delineated Area: Offered properties must be located within the Central Business District of Philadelphia, PA. The subject agency is currently housed in the above referenced area; therefore, the costs of moving and alterations as well as the impact on the agency’s mission will be assessed. Lease Term: 5 years with cancellation rights after the second (2nd) full year of occupancy. Owners and Authorized agents: Submissions by other than the owner of a property or site must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space/site. Occupancy: Space must be ready for occupancy by April 1, 2009.
