- PROJECT TITLE: Replace Truck Entrance / Control Facility LOCATION: DDJC Tracy in San Joaquin County, California SOLICITATION NUMBER: W91238-09-R-0003 TYPE OF AWARD: This acquisition is proceeding as a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE Request for Proposal (RFP). Estimated Cost Range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Y-Construction of Structure and Facilities, NAICS Code: 236220. The size standard for this code is $33,500,000. All questions should be directed to the Contract Specialist, Samantha Ahle, at (916) 557-5193, FAX: No.: (916) 557-5278, e-mail: samantha.e.ahle@usace.army.mil JOB DESCRIPTION: This project is to construct and install a security booth, truck canopy, guard shack, truck control office (8,000 SF), access roads, vehicle parking lots, curb / gutter, pop-up barriers for force protection, motorized gates, truck scale, spill containment area, street lighting, perimeter security fencing, relocation of power poles / wires, widen country road for new entrance / exit, utilities (water, sewer, storm drain, natural gas, power, data). A SITE VISIT/PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE WILL BE SCHEDULED ON / ABOUT 13 NOVEMBER 2008. All offers will be due on/about 8 DECEMBER 2008/3:00 pm PST. The specific date and time will be identified in the solicitation. OFFERORS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. The solicitation will be available on/about 7 November 2008. ORDERING SOLICITATION: Plans and specifications will NOT be provided in hard paper copy or CD-ROM format. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) once the RFP is issued. Viewing/downloading documents from FedBizOpps will require prior registration in Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov). If you are a first-time FedBizOpps user, you will also be required to register in FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) before accessing the RFP documents. To register, click on the Register Now button in the Vendors Block and follow the instructions.
