Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Allenwood Federal Correctional Complex, PA, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 intends to make a sole source award to Windstream Communications, Inc., 4001 Rodeny Parham, Little Rock, AR 72212-2442. This requirement is for the acquisition of Digital ISDN PRI Telephone Service consisting of three (3) separate T-1 circuits for the period of 10/01/2008 through 9/30/2009. To the best of our knowledge, this requirement can only be met by local phone service, provided by Windstream Communications. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, as no solicitation document is available. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been certified and approved for Windstream Communications, Inc. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Closing date is November 7, 2008.
