Description

This notice serves as a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this notice is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Responses to this notice are not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. At this point in time the BEP is conducting market research to seek sources, specifically sources that are certified HUBZone and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) businesses that have the capability to provide the required rigging and moving services necessary to move, dispose of and transport equipment. See the attached draft Statement of Need for further details. THIS IS A DRAFT STATE OF NEED THEREFORE IT MAY CHANGE. The location for performance would be at the BEP's facility located in Fort Worth, Texas. Interested parties should submit with their response the following information; 1.Service/Capability literature in performing this type of work 2.If available, any commercial pricing information (e.g. catalog price list) 3.References of previous work. 4.Point of Contact information. Interested parties shall send their response to the attn of Thomas O'Linn via e-mail Thomas.olinn@bep.treas.gov or fax at (202)-874-2200. RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SHOULD BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN 12:00 PM EST OCTOBER 28 2008. AT THIS POINT IN TIME NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED. THE GOVERNMENT THOUGH MAY CONTACT INTERESTED PARTIES TO OBTAIN ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. Note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated NAICS codes are 238290 and 488991, with 238290 being the primary.
