- This amendment is to change the Solicitation listed below from VA-786-08-RP-0007 to VA-786-09-RP-0007. The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-08-RP-0007 for the following service: The contractor shall be required to perform on-site inscriptions for U1 Marble Headstones and R2 Reverse Inscription for Upright Marble Headstones at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Highway 72, Sarasota, Florida, within ten (10) calendar days following the date the order was issued. Potential offerors will submit, at contractor expense, one marble inscription sample representative of the work to be done, the sample should be in accordance with the specifications listed in the solicitation. This sample should be received and approved prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The contractor shall be responsible for all work at the cemetery: Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1) Past Performance, 2) Technical Qualifications, and 3) Price. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business. The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard is 500 employees. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about October 24, 2008. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about 2:00 p.m., November 14, 2008. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments. See Numbered Note 29.
