Description
GSA is seeking commercial space and support to hold the GSA 'Safety Day'. In Washington, DC or Northern Virginai area. Site must be within walking distance from the METRO The date has not yet been set, but space must be available for a one day event on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday in June or July 2009. GSA may be interested in using the same site for Safety Day in 2009, 2010, and 2011 and would be interested in knowing if firms could accomodate future years as well. Firms interested in this business must provide date(s) that they can accomodate GSA's requirements. The following are minimal requirements. (a) The space must include at least one (1) exhibit hall (able to accomodate a minimum of 75 table-top exhibitors) and six (6) breakout rooms, set up in theater style for a minimum of 30 persons per room plus the presentors. (b) Audio visual equipment must be provided by the firm for the break out rooms and the exhibit hall. (c) The exhibit must accomodate a minimum of 600 persons, as well as the exhibits. (d) The breakout rooms and exhibit hall must be available from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the day of the event. (e) The Exhibit Hall must be available the night before the eventt to allow for set-up and the night after the event (after 4:00 PM) on Safety Day to take down the exhibits.
