Description
A total of three (3) REQUIREMENTS contracts will be awarded, one for each of three identified Regions of coverage. Region 1 is described as the Sacramento River drainage basin including all rivers and tributaries flowing into the river north of N38.36838 W121.52138 (Hood, CA). Region 2 is described as the Delta region with its western most boundary located on the Sacramento River at N38.06102 W122.22616 (I-80 overpass at Carquinez) and including all rivers and tributaries flowing into the region excluding the Sacramento River north of N38.36838 W121.52138 (Hood, CA.) and the San Joaquin River south of N37.94802 W121.33722 (west of the I-5 overpass but including the ship channel and port area east of the I-5 overpass. Region 3 is described as the San Joaquin River drainage basin including all rivers and tributaries flowing into the river south of N37.94802 W121.33722 (west of the I-5 overpass. Each contract will have a 12-month Base Period plus three (3) 12-month Option Periods; each Period will have a maximum capacity of $ 24M, totaling $ 96M maximum contract capacity, making the total procurement covered by this Acquisition Plan of $ 288M. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Z299, SIC CODE: 1629, NAICS Code: 237990. The size standard for this code is $31,000,000. JOB DESCRIPTION: These contracts will be utilized ONLY for emergency levee repairs that are in response to requested assistance from the State of California and FEMA. THE ANITICIPATED RELEASE DATE FOR THE SOLICITATION,IFB, IS "ON OR ABOUT" 24 OCT 2008. THE SOLICITATION, IFB, WILL STATE THE SPECIFIC DATE AND TIME FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS. Plans and specifications will NOT be provided in hard paper copy or CD-ROM format. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) once the IFB is issued. Viewing/downloading documents from FedBizOpps will require prior registration in Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov). If you are a first-time FedBizOpps user, you will also be required to register in FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) before accessing the IFB documents. To register, click on the Register Now button in the Vendors Block and follow the instructions. The following information will be required: Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN); DUNS Number or Cage Code; Telephone Number; and E-mail Address.
