- Description
- The US Army Research and Development Center is doing market research toidentify contractors that would be capable of performing a fixed fee contract for 12 months duration in order to program, install, and debug a new 4-nozzle pour machine that was built to support explosive loading operations at Picatinny Arsenal. The installation will take place in the explosive pilot plant facility. The four nozzle pour machine will need to be installed and integrated with existing explosive loading equipment and facility. The programming for the controls must be provided and then integrated with the existing control system. After completion, the contract must provide start-up support and debug support to ensure that the equipment and controls were installed properly and will function properly in the explosive loading facility. In addition, the equipment and installation must meet all explosive safety requirements pertaining to working in an explosive environment. The purpose of the survey is to assess the market for possible sources with the capability and interest in meeting this requirement. This notice is for the purpose of gathering data and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government is not authorized to pay for or return any information submitted. Submissions should provide information relating to the contractors capabilities, technical ability and prior experience with this type of work.
