****************************************************************************************************************** AMENDMENT 1. Change Solicitation Block 9 due date. 2. Offer submissions must be received by 12:00 PM EST on November 5, 2008 ****************************************************************************************************************** The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) has a requirement for Infrastructure and Software Engineering Services (ISES). The tasks to be performed under this Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract include Development, Modernization, and Enhancement (DME) activities, which includes, but is not limited to, requirements definition and analysis, design, development, construction, testing, and deployment. Software Engineering services will also include tasks for Steady State (SS)/Operations & Maintenance (O&M) such as defect/bug fixes, minor adjustments due to infrastructure changes, vendor patches/service pack releases, and minor version upgrades. The NAICS code is 541512. This procurement is for Full and Open Competition. The solicitation will result with a multiple-award, IDIQ performance-based contract with a base period of twelve months, and four option periods of twelve months each. The issued Task Orders will also be performance based, and may be issued as FFP, CPFF, CPAF, or other cost types, and may include incentives. The solicitation will include two task order requirements, one for Software Engineering and one for Infrastructure Engineering services. It is anticipated that the Infrastructure Task Order will be awarded the week following the IDIQ contract award. The solicitation and any amendments will be electronically distributed and available through the www.fbo.gov website. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued around August 1, 2008. The anticipated IDIQ award date is December 2008. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to assure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation and any amendments will not be distributed. Upon issuance of the solicitation, there will be an identified question and answer period. Other inquires regarding this solicitation must be sent to the Contract Specialist.
