- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to award a contract to provide Radiology Services for the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) located in Alderson, West Virginia. FPC Alderson requires the contractor to provide on-site x-rays and on-site ultrasound services, along with a licensed radiologist to provide interpretation of exams. X-ray services are required an estimate of 416 one-hour sessions per contract year to be performed generally one day per week for eight hours. Ultrasound services are required an estimate of 192 one-hour sessions per contract year to be performed generally two days per month for eight hours each visit. It is anticipated that the FPC will require approximately 1248 x-ray interpretations per year and 360 ultrasound readings annually. A contract resulting from this RFQ will consist of a Base Year period that runs through September 30, 2009 with four 12-month option periods for renewal. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business and does include applicable subcontracting limitation. All responsible small business sources are encouraged to submit a quote for consideration. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit quotations equally with other organization for contracts for which they are eligible. The North American Industry Classification System code for this services is 621512 and the applicable small business size standard is $13.5M. The solicitation will be made available on or about October 22, 2008. Upon issuance, solicitation packages may be accessed electronically at this address: www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available as the site provides downloading instructions.
