- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District intends to award a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for the procurement and delivery of jetty stone to a staging area near the Tillamook North Jetty near Barview, located about 1 mile north of the town of Garibaldi on the northern Oregon coast. The contract will be structured to provide a combination of efforts consisting of producing stone, producing and delivery, and delivery only from the quarry to the jetty. A maximum of 16,200 tons of stone with weights ranging from 24 tons to 45 tons, having a minimum unit weight of 175 lbs/ft 3 and 20,400 tons of stone with weights ranging from 25 tons to 48 tons having a minimum unit weight of 165 lbs/ft 3 is to be provided. The stone shall comply with Portland District jetty stone quality requirements. Delivery of rock to the final staging area adjacent to the north jetty must be via truck. The MATOC will be for 1 base year and four optional years per the Governments needs. The period of performance will be approximately between 30 September and 30 April of each year.
