If the quantity ranges provided in this solicitationdo not provide the best pricing option then the contractor shall submitquantity ranges that yield the best prices to the Government based theMin quantity of 1 ea and Max quantity of 5 ea. The proposed contract actionis for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicitand negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under theauthority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interestand capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Thisnotice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However,all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award isissued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date ofpublication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. ADetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed contractbased upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion ofthe Government. Information received will normally be considered solelyfor the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitiveprocurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or themanufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award inaccordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies theoffice where additional information can be obtained concerningqualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. See Note(s) 25 and 26.
