- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Puget Sound Health Care System, Seattle, WA, VISN 20, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Spectrum Research, Inc, Tacoma WA for the purpose of daily entry of study data, data query, data management and producing reports in support of the Dysvascular Amputee Study. The contractor shall provide the necessary employees to complete the project within seven months after award. NAICS Code 541620, size standard $7.0 million. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-3 (a) (2) (ii) research capability. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, if a firm believes it can meet these requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and services, to the Contracting Officer within three business days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. If no valid responses are received, the Puget Sound Health Care System will proceed with the intended sole source contract. The following additional clauses apply: CCR Clause: Attention: You must be registered in CCR to be considered for award. FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003) (B)(2) the offeror shall provide its DUNS or, if applicable, it's DUNS+4 number with its offer, which will be used by the contracting officer to verify that the offeror is registered in the CCR database. (C) Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
