Description

This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information on proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000.00. In accordance with FAR 13.104 Promoting Competition, The Drug Enforcement Administration solicited bids from vendors for the following Cisco Manufactured components in the quantity of one (1) each. 1) Part No. CON-AS-WLAN: Cisco Network Optimization Services Wireless Component, 2) Part No. CON-AS-RS: Network Optimization. World Wide Technology provided the lowest quote in the amount of $628,206.46 and was accepted. The acquisition will be conducted under the test program described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 13.5. As a result the DEA will provide a purchase order to World Wide Technology in the amount of $628,206.46. If there are any concerns with regard to DEA's intent please contact Ghazala Shabnam. Closing date is November 5, 2008 at 12:00 PM EST.
