- The United States Government seeks to lease office space consisting of approximately 15,724 rentable square feet in Cape Canaveral, Florida within the following delineated area: NORTH - SR 401; SOUTH - Highway 528/Central Boulevard East; EAST - Atlantic Ocean; WEST - Banana River. The space must be able to yield a minimum of 13,673 BOMA Office Area square feet with ample parking spaces both secured and surface. Parking requirements are as follows: 19 secured spaces and 75 surface spaces. Parking area must also be able to accommodate parking for four (4) 60 foot tractor trailers with turnaround. The set-back requirements are 50 feet. The proposed lease is for fifteen (15) years with ten (10) years firm and must be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than July 2010. All space offered must be contiguous on one floor. Use of space shall be a combination of office, special-use space, and other secured areas, etc. Space must be located in a commercial office district with attractive, prestigious, professional surroundings with a prevalence of modern design and/or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use. All proposed locations MUST be adjacent to Port Authority property. All services, utilities and tenant improvements must be provided as part of the rental consideration. The offered space must meet Government requirements for security, fire and life safety and handicapped accessibility.
