- This is a notice of intent. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Contracting Department is announcing its intent to issue a sole source request for quotation in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) and FAR 13 to Thompson, Michael for technical support and subject matter expertise for continuing development of CyberCIEGE game engine. Place of performance is at Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA. These services are being procured on a sole source basis. The applicable NAICS code is 541511, business size: $23.0 mil. A single award, firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated to be awarded as a result of the RFQ. This procurement is issued as unrestricted. Service is expected to begin about 19 November 2008 through 18 April 2009. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all quotes received will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete the requirement. A determination b! y the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order will be based upon the responses and is solely within the discretion of the Government. The RFQ will be available for review and downloading at the following websites: https://www.neco.navy.mil and https://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 12 November 2008.
