- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the Format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference Number N4223709RC002X2 is issued as a request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is ONE HUNDERED PERCENT SMALL BUSINESS SETASIDE. NAICS 561740. The BEQ Department at the Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, GA requires a Full Service Carpet Cleaning Agency to clean various rooms in Buildings 1054, 1055, 1056, 1061, 1071, 1072, 1073, 1074 and in 1070 Core buildings. The amount of rooms will vary from month to month depending on amount of Checkouts and Checkins. The amount Will Not Exceed forty (40) rooms a month ! in all listed buildings. Item 0001: Requirements: Contractor will supply all equipment and supplies necessary to clean carpets to standards. Contractors will be escorted at all times by Building Managers. Contractors will be responsible for any damages incurred to furnishings, carpeting or other Government property, if determined to be the fault of the Contractor. Contractor will ensure all personnel detailed to clean have proper security clearances to base and no criminal record of any sort. Contractor personnel must be American Citizen. No Foreign Nationals will be allowed on the Naval Base. Contractor will not move any personnel property of resident. All Buildings are non-smoking. Smoking is prohibited in passageways and rooms. Item 0002: Detail Tasks: All stains removed. If stains cannot be removed, building managers will be notified immediately. Carpet will be vacuumed prior to cleaning. All excess water and cleaning products will be vacuumed from carpet to allow for! quick dry. If any Vendor would like to do a site visit to view rooms, they must contact the Contracting Officer listed below. They must allow time to do the site visit and still submit their quote by the Closing date.
