Description

The U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source fixed-price purchase order to Moody’s Economy.com, Inc., 121 N. Walnut, Suite 500, West Chester, PA 19380, to provide HUD with access to a large number of current up-to-date general and metropolitan Precis State and Metro Reports, Housing Monitor Report, Regional Financial Review. The data will be provided in a variety of formats that balance timeliness, accessibility, and cost. The reports should be provided online, with frequent updates and access for 50 users. Customer Support shall be provided on the use of this service and on means to adapt it to the Department’s requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETETIVE PROPOSALS. The intent of this notice is for information purposes only. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(Only one Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements), HUD intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, however, the Government will consider all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
