- FAQ090003- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - Agricultural Tractor Rental for BLM Ely District Office, located in Ely, Nevada This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. CONTRACTOR QUOTES SHOULD BE SUBMITTED VIA FAX (775-289-1910) OR EMAIL (kim_ferguson@nv.blm.gov) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. FAQ090003. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. This combined synopsis is for rent of two (2) 4x4 agricultural tractors as identified below, including delivery to the project site, within the BLM Ely District. Contractors may submit more than one quote if alternative tractors are available. LINE ITEM 0001 - Agricultural Tractor (#1): 3.5 months usageMinimum 100-120 HP Tractor4X4 Tractor is preferred. However, a 2WD will be considered if rear dual tires are added to the tractor. Please identify the hour usage included in the rate and the rate for any overage. LINE ITEM 0002 - Agricultural Tractor (#2): 3.5 months usageMinimum 100-120 HP Tractor4X4 Tractor is preferred. However, a 2WD will be considered if rear dual tires are added to the tractor. Please identify the hour usage included in the rate and the rate for any overage. LINE ITEM 0003 - Delivery & Pick up charges, for both tractors, to the project site location. The site location is in Cave Valley, approximately 60 miles south of Ely, NV. Access to the site will include approximately 25 miles of a maintained County Road. Directions and map (if necessary) will be given to the contractor when award is made.Delivery to the site by 11/12/08. Usage is estimated to be approximately 3.5 months with pick up to be on/about 02/27/09.
