Description

THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Naval Air Systems Command; Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) (AIR 2.5.1.3), Patuxent River, MD 20670-1127 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with L-3 Communications Titan Corporation, FOUR GREENTREE CENTER, 13000 Route 73, Suite 400, Marlton, NJ, 08053 for the procurement of three (3) months of extended effort under existing contract N00421-04-D-0071 which provides specialized technical support to the AIR 4.3 Structures Division. This requirement will have a ceiling value not to exceed $1,789,845.00 and fulfills an existing need until a competitive follow-on award can be made. This action is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10, U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. While this notice of intent is for information purposes only, and not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may identify their interest and technical capability, respond to this requirement, and submit information, which shall be considered by the NAWCAD.
