- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Part 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N00244-09-T-0028. This solicitation documents incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-27 effective 2008 September 17 and DFARS Change Notice 20080722. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far. The NAICS code is 334112, business size is 1,000 employees. A single award, firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated to be awarded as a result of the RFQ. This requirement is to acquire 44 HP 300 GB, 1500 RPM Ultra 320 SCSI pluggable ha! rd drives P/N: 411089-B22, Brand Name or equal. The attached copy of the solicitation contains a complete description for of the item and applicable provisions and clauses. The Government is seeking quotations for new materials only. This procurement is competitive, 100% set aside for small business concerns. All responsible businesses capable of meeting the requirements of the solicitation are encouraged to respond.
