- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Delafield Road, Pittsburgh (Aspinwall), PA 15215 has a requirement for liquid oxygen to be supplied for the purpose of refilling small portable oxygen tanks carried by inpatients. Offeror will supply six liquid oxygen reservoir units (approximately 100 lbs. in capacity) which are compatible with the Puritan Bennett Companion C-1000 portable liquid oxygen unit. These companion units are standardized for this VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. Offeror will provide refill service to each of the six reservoirs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays inclusive of holidays. Each refill episode will be complete in that each reservoir will be filled to its capacity. The applicable NAICS code 325120 is with a small business standard of 1000 employees. Specifications, and forms for submitting an offer will be available to interested parties for downloading on or about November 3, 2008 through electronic data interchange at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copy requests of solicitation must be in writing and submitted to Kathleen Policicchio (04A1-H), VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. Offers are due November 14, 2008 by 2:00 p.m. to above Contracting Officer at same address. All respondents must be registered in the CCR data base. Web address is http://www.ccr.gov and may be completed online. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at the FEDBIZOPPS Website. All offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation from the FEDBIZOPPS website. Interested offerors must go to the FEDBIZOPPS Website to be entered on the Bidders Mailing List and to obtain copies of the Bidders Mailing List. This requirement is unrestricted, open to both large and small businesses. Award is subject to the Availability of Funds.
