Description
Request for Information Diversity Training for Managers/Supervisors and All Employees The Bureau of the Public Debt (BPD) is conducting market research to locate contractors capable of providing Diversity Training for Managers/Supervisors and All Employees. Contractors must be able to provide multiple sessions of each training course for one base year and four (4) option years. Both courses are intended to provide BPD with a more informed workforce that is sensitive to diversity issues. Upon completion of each course, participants shall possess sufficient knowledge in the following areas: a. How diversity issues differ from EEO issues. b. How our behaviors and biases impact the services we provide our customers. c. The advantages of a respectful, inclusive workplace. d. Awareness of your individual behavior. e. The differences between prejudice and stereotyping. f. Expectations for workplace behavior despite personal feelings and beliefs. g. Participation in personal assessments, role-plays, or in-class surveys. h. Supporting inclusive, respectful environments for both employees and customers. i. Interrupting inappropriate speech and behavior in the workplace. j. Enhancing positive interaction by removing cultural barriers to communication. k. Promoting workplace respect and dignity for all. l. Managing diversity effectively. m. Interrupting inappropriate speech and behavior in the workplace. Qualified contractors must provide the following: 1. The name and location of your company, contact information, and identify your business size (Small Business, Large Business, Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, or HubZone) based on NAICS Code 611430, size standard $7m. Please ensure contact information includes the name of the point of contact, email address, and telephone number should the Government have questions regarding individual responses. 2. Whether your services are available through a GSA Schedule or Open Market. 3. A brief capabilities statement that includes a description of your company's standard line of business, as well as a list of customers your company currently provides these services for. Responses to this request must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. ET on November 5, 2008 and may be submitted electronically to PSB2@bpd.treas.gov. Electronic submissions should include the subject line "Response to RFI-BPD-09-0007, Attn: Geoff Barnes." The following file extensions are not allowable and application materials/data submitted with these extensions cannot be considered:.bat,.cmd,.com,.exe,.pif,.rar,.scr,.vbs,.hta,.cpl, and.zip files. Microsoft Office compatible documents are acceptable. No other information regarding this RFI will be provided at this time. This notice does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that the response is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to any resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice. Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive notification when the solicitation and any amendments are issued and available for downloading. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list. Therefore, we recommend that you monitor the FedBizOpps site for all information relevant to desired acquisitions.
