Description
Statement of Work For High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicle Maintenance Training 1.0 OBJECTIVE Commander Naval Special Warfare Command (CNSWC) requires contracted maintenance training to provide subject matter expertise in the training and instruction on the HMMWV (High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle). The technical training will provide manufacturers guided training on the newest technology and techniques for maintenance and repair of the HMMWV. 2.0 SCOPE 2.1 FIELD MAINTENANCE TRAINING: Contractor’s major duties are to provide unit level Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), removal and replacement of unit and direct support level components, as well as troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components and systems at the organizational and direct support levels. All training activities will adhere to the Maintenance Allocation Charts shown in the appropriate HMMWV Technical Manuals. 2.2 ADVANCED MOBILITY/MAINTENANCE/BDAR: The Advanced Mobility/Maintenance/Battle Damage Assessment and Repair (BDAR) course provides training on the operation as well as operator maintenance of the HMMWV. This five day, eight hours per day training course teaches the student how to operate the HMMWV on the highway as well as extreme off road conditions. The student will learn in a driver’s simulator that provides high fidelity real world environments and vehicle behavior as well as real armored and regular HMMWV’s in extreme off road environments. 3.0 REQUIREMENTS 3.1 CONTRACTOR SUPPORT: 3.1.1The contractor shall provide all classroom material, models, training aids, HMMWV’s and technical data manuals for each course of instruction. 3.1.2At the conclusion of each course: 3.1.2.1 Every student will keep the training manuals used during the training. All other material remains the property of the Contractor. 3.1.2.2 A course completion certificate will be given to each student upon successful completion of the course. 4.0 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE Performance will take place at the contractor designated site. 5.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The contractor shall provide all labor to accomplish the tasks described above in accordance with the class dates selected by NSW. NSW Representative will coordinate with the Contractor. 1ST course is to be implement on 10 Novermber 2008.
