- Description
- The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to The Escal Institute of Advanced Technologies Inc, also referred to as SANS Institute. Hurlburt Field requests that there be a SANS OnSite service provided in the form of certified SANS instructors to teach the GSEC bootcamp course, provide required training materials and to proctor GSEC exam. This solicitation is under North American Industry Classification System code 611310 with a small business size standard of $6.5M. Place of delivery shall be 39 IOS, Bldg 90074, Hurlburt Field FL 32544. Submit questions or comments to 1 SOCONS/LGCA, Attn: SrA Amanda Fernandez, Amanda.Fernandez@hurlburt.af.mil, 350 Tully St, Hurlburt Field, FL 32544-9191 at or before 1600 (4:00 PM CST), 19 November 08. A firm fixed price order will be issued in writing. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government believes that SANS Institute is the only known source that has the proprietary information and expertise to provide this service. Anticipated award is 20 November 08. This notice is NOT a request for quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirements by emailing SrA Amanda Fernandez, Amanda.Fernandez@hurlburt.af.mil no later than 19 November 08. Capability statements must include documented ability to satisfy the Government's requirements. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement. This notice is for informational purposes, a formal solicitation will not be posted on this site as a result of this announcement.
