- The USCG Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the purchase of following item: 1) NSN: 2815-99-534-5610 Cylinder Liner Paxman Part Number: 8241-588 Quantity: 20 each Note: Only Paxman parts will be accepted. This solicitation is for new liners. Remanufactured items will not be accepted. DESCRIPTIVE/SPEC DATA: CYLINDER LINER USED ON PAXMAN ENGINE MODEL 16RP200M. EACH LINER SHALL BE PRESERVED TO PREVENT CORROSION, INDIVIDUALLY PACKAGED AND PACKED TO PREVENT MOVEMENT IN A SUITABLE CONTAINER CAPABLE OF PROVIDING ADEQUATE PROTECTION DURING LONG TERM STORAGE AND MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS.ACCEPTANCE WILL BE MADE AT DESTINATION BY A GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVE. ACCEPTANCE WILL BE CONTINGENT UPON THE REPRESENTATIVE'S VERIFICATION OF NO DAMAGE IN TRANSIT, CORRECTNESS AND COMPLETENESS OF ORDER AND CONTRACTOR'S CONFORMANCE TO PRESERVATION/PACKAGING, PACKING AND MARKING REQUIREMENTS. FOB Destination delivery on or before 02/28/2009 to USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR, FAC 2005-27 (Oct 2008) and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and FAR Part 6.302.1. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotations shall include, proposed delivery in days, pricing for item(s) with packing, marking, bar code and shipping included in unit price, the company Tax Information Number and DUNS Number.
