- Description
- The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for one year. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 611519, size standard $7M. Full and open competition using competitive procedures will apply to this requirement. This contract action will provide ADR training from a source possessing comprehensive knowledge of the requirements of the ADR for three (3) Naval Support Activities (NSA) locations in Italy and Crete, Greece. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be made available via the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov) and/or the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website (www.neco.navy.mil) on 30 Oct 2008. All prospective offerors should download all pertinent documents from those websites. The due date for the proposals is 10 Nov 2008, as stated in the RFQ. Requests for solicitation documents by telephone, fax, or e-mail will not be honored. All interested offerors must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Be advised that failure to register in the CCR makes an offeror ineligible for award of DoD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing by the website at http://www.ccr.gov/. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the FedBizOps website. Therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the internet sites daily for any posted ch! anges to the solicitation plans and specifications. The Government intends to make award to the offeror that represents the best value to the Government, price and non-price factors considered. Instructions and evaluation factors will be provided in the solicitation. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal for consideration. Responses to the solicitation shall be submitted in an original and one hard copy format and are due at the office of NAVFAC LANT, 6506 Hampton Blvd, ACQ-11, Attn: Patricia Hopkins, Norfolk, VA 23508 NLT the date specified in the RFQ. Offerors may also submit completed RFQ responses via email to patricia.h.hopkins@navy.mil or by fax at 001-1-757-322-4178 by close of business 10 Nov 2008. It is anticipated that award of the contract will occur December 2008.
