Description
The Federal Aviation Administration is soliciting competitive offers for the supply and delivery of diesel fuel for delivery to FAA facilities located at Coghlan Island, Alaska, USA. Deliveries are required from October 1, 2008 - September 30, 2009 according to the terms outlined within the Request for Quote. DOT/FAA anticipates award of a separate firm fixed price contract. Response to the solicitation is required by 11:00 a.m., Alaska Time, November 4, 2008. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments are available on-line at http://faaco.faa.gov/index.cfm., or via written request to the Contracting Officer. All interested sources should first attempt to download the Request for Quote (RFQ) from the internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for a copy of the RFQ should be submitted in writing either via facsimile (907-271-2326), or via e-mail to: Nichole.CTR.Cruthirds@faa.gov. No phone requests will be accepted. The FAA is not responsible for electronic or fax failure. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
