- COMMAND POST MAINTENANCE UNITED STATES ARMY CENRAL COMMAND SUPPORT SERVICES INFORMATION FOR SOURCES SOUGHT The purpose of this Announcement is to identify potential businesses with the NAICS code 811213. Interested Companies within this NAICS must respond to the Sources Sought Announcement no later than 02:00pm on 5 November 2008, by providing firm, quality and quantifiable information. Interested Companies must also demonstrate potential contract approach based on the information provided in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). It is imperative that the potential offeror explain technical capability and responsibility of being able to fulfill this requirement by providing relevant, current, past performance and experience. Additionally, subject contractor must have an active or be able to quickly obtain a TOP SECRET Clearance for their staffing. Brief Description of Requirement: U.S. Army CENTRAL (USARCENT), an Army Service Component Command (ASCC) Headquarters, serves as the ASCC for United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) and, in that capacity, is tasked with a number of critically important missions and responsibilities. This is a 5-year Requirement Contract with the base period beginning 01 December 2008 and four 12-month option periods Among the most critical of these missions is the requirement to conduct Full Spectrum Operations. In order to accomplish this mission, USARCENT must be able to deploy to austere environments and conduct operations utilizing a deployable command post. A requirement exists for site technicians to maintain both the Combined Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC) Operational Command Post and the Early Entry Command Posts various systems power generation, C4I, communications, movement, information sharing and shelters. These requirements also include breaking down, transporting by land, sea, or air, and setting up the CFLCC Operational Command Post shelters and the 5-ton expandable trucks, providing operator level checks and services and teaching Soldiers and the ARCENT Battle Staff to perform all the above enumerated tasks. The objective of this effort shall be to provide system level Tactical Operations Center (TOC) troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, logistics support, technical support, sparing, Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) replacement, training, and the design, procurement and integration of system upgrades to existing Tactical Operations Center systems and new systems/concepts. The contractor shall also identify, through troubleshooting, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) problems and coordinate repair/replacement when required. See Attached PWS
