- The NSNs being solicited are listed below. They are procured in accordance with technical data packages. The solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) and the FOB point is Destination. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 5 years. Items will be shipped to various CONUS DLA stock locations. This requirement is set aside for small businesses. The small business standard is 750 employees. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on its issue date November 19, 2008. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. A written offer is required to be returned to the address in block 8 of the RFP by the date and time specified, DIBBS quotes are not acceptable. Technical drawings/bid sets are available from DSCC-VTS via the internet at the above web site (the bid sets are indicated by an icon beside the NSN on the solicitation list) or https://pcf1.bsm.dla.mil/cfolders/. If you have trouble downloading, you may send a request via email to dscc.cddwgs@dla.mil, facsimile to (614) 692-6938, telephone at (614) 692-5858, or mail to Defense Supply Center Columbus, ATTN: DSCC-VTS, P.O. Box 3990, Columbus, Ohio 43218-3990. Requests should include the RFP number, closing date, NSN, buyer name and number and your complete name and address. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of factors as described in Section M of the solicitation. The following synopsis notes apply: Note 1: The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Note 12: One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English languate and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Note 26: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies.
