Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for information purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. A Market Survey is being conducted to determine if there are adequate Small Businesses, HUBZone, 8(a), or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors for the following proposed contract: This is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Construction Services Contract for support at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Task Orders will be awarded under this contract to furnish support services. The support shall include, but not limited to the fabrication, installation, testing, maintenance, material and removal of shipboard machinery systems and associated components in various test sites and buildings located at NSWC, Philadelphia, PA. This contract will also be used at the same location for the construction, modification and retrofitting of various test facilities. It is anticipated that award of a cost plus fixed fee Single Award Task Order Contract will be made in January 2009. The duration of the contract will be for a one (1) year base period with two (2) one year optional periods. The minimum task order amount is $2,500.00 and a maximum amount is $4.8M. The NAICS for this project is 238990 and the size standard is $14 million. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors should submit a narrative demonstrating their experience in similar type contracts and their ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Capability statements should include size/classification of your firm, if your firm has an approved DCAA accounting system adequate for determining costs applicable to each contract, bonding capacity (single project and aggregate), details of similar projects, completion dates, references and contract amount. Narratives shall be no longer than five pages. Responses should be sent to this office on or before November 18, 2008 by emailing Michelle.L.Johnson@usace.army.mil.
