Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. Offerors are encouraged to access information also available on the NSWC Crane Division web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synoprfp.htm. NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division has a requirement for Engineering Services in support of the following Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) programs: (1) Fleet Ballistic Missile Program (Trident), (2) Enhanced Modular Signal Processor (EMSP), (3) DMS Technology Center (DTC),(4) Trident I (C4) and Trident II (D5) Transportation Maintenance Program. The technical requirements will be listed in the NSWC Crane Statement of Work. This will be a 5 year IDIQ. An offer will be solicited on a sole-source basis from Systems Design and Analysis Inc., 1398 N. Shadeland Ave, Suite 2235, Indianapolis, IN 46219-3619, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, i.e., only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject services. The POC is Mr. Terry Hembree, Code 0564EW, at (812)-854-2637 or e-mail terry.hembree@navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered. Submitting a bid from the NECO web site by clicking on the "Submit Bid" does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of offerors to download the RFP and to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane to be considered.
