- Mission Installation Contracting Command Center- Fort Bragg, North Carolina intends to award, on a sole source basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, a contract to Memex, Inc for annual maintenance upgrades on the Memex Information Engine (MIE). The upgrades are based on whether it is a site license or the number of users. The upgrades are to upgrade existing software. The upgrades are unique to the software. Failure to purchase these items would decrease effectiveness of the softwares capabilities. This is not a Request for Competitive Proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If you feel your firm possesses the ability to provide these supplies, then you must respond by demonstrating your firms technical capability to meet the requirements. If no affirmative written response is received, the supplies will be awarded without further notice.
