Description
This Solicitation No. NNG09221047J was changed from NNG08221047R, which was postedon July 24, 2008. This notice is to change the solicitation number and to issue theDraft Request for Proposal (DRFP).NASA/GSFC has a requirement for Environmental Consulting Services. This procurement is afollow-on effort to the requirements currently being performed under NNG04AZ01C withProxtronics, Inc. The environmental services contract will provide services for the dailyoperational aspects of the Center's Environmental Management Program including:Environmental Management, Water Management, Natural Resources Management, Air Management,restoration Management, Waste Management, and special studies, investigations and workefforts. The environmental services contract will also establish and maintain commonCenter process and procedures to assure compliance with environmental requirements.The anticipated effective ordering period is for 5 years. The Government does not intendto acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26.The procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and SizeStandard are 541620 and $6.5M, respectively.Potential offerors are encouraged to comment on all aspects of the draft solicitation aswell as identify any unnecessary or inefficient requirements. Interested parties arerequired to provide comments no later than November 30, 2008. Comments on the draftsolicitation are not mandatory.The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the draft solicitationor to otherwise pay for the information solicited. The anticipated release of the finalRFP is 30 days after the DRFP release, with proposals due approximately 45 days after thesolicitation release date. The use of industry comments to structure the final RFP is atthe discretion of the Government.
