- Description
- Description: This ervice project consists of road decommissioning by recontouring and decompacting, as well as soil restoration on the Clearater Ranger District. Work includes drainage maintenance, subgrade scarification, road obliteration, seeding and hand straw mulching and miscellaneous related work. Approximately 10-20 miles of old road will be treated. The project area is located approximately 11.5 miles east of Grangeville via State Highway 13 and Lightning Creek Road #244. Follow Lightning Creek Road to Road #244C, then follow Road # 44C to start of project at Rd #9473. The project is expected to begin approximately May 15, 2009 and be completed by October 31, 2009. This is a presolicitation notice, the solicitation package will be available in the Spring of 2009. A map showing the roads currently identified for treatment has been uploaded.
