Description
Department of Veterans Affairs VA-246-09-RI-0011 Project: Maximo Software Version 7.1 Training This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SS) to determine the availability and capability of potential small businesses to provide services for the projected titled: Maximo Software Version 7.1 Training. This SS is for information and planning purposes and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The services needed are the following training classes for key personnel associated with the Veterans Affairs Strategic Asset Management (SAM) Program and National Item File (NIF) management program: IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.1 Fundamentals, and IBM Tailoring and Configuring for Enterprise IT and Asset Management. Potential contractors must provide and reproduce all student handouts and materials, required lab equipment, machine time and programmer support. The training will be four 8 hour days, with 14 students per training class. There will be two sessions of the training in two different locations: one session in Hines, IL and the second in the the Washington, D.C. area. Interested small business potential offerors are encouraged to respond to this notice. However, be advised that generic capability statements are not sufficient for effective evaluation of respondents capacity and capability to provide the required service. The VA may or may not award a contract on the basis of responses. The VA will not pay for the preparation of any information submitted. As a result of the Notice, the VA may issue a Request for Proposal (RFP). There is no solicitation available at this time.
