- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Seeks Leased Office Space Savannah, Georgia REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease 37,935 rentable square feet yielding 32,987 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of contiguous office and related space in Savannah, GA within the following delineated area: DELINEATED AREA: NORTH:I-16. EAST:Lynes Parkway SOUTH:Ocean Highway WEST:Chatham Parkway REQUIRED: The space must be contiguous and not separated by public corridors. A 500 square foot covered loading dock, constructed in such a manner as to allow direct offloading of equipment without the need for lifting or lowering is required. The dock should also meet GSA requirements for loading docks. Sixty (60) parking spaces are required, including two (2) handicap parking spaces. Additionally, covered parking must be provided that can accommodate a vehicle measuring 35 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 13 feet tall. The site must not be located within a 100-year flood plain. Space must be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design, tasteful rehabilitation in modern use or new construction. All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The Government does not accept sub-leases. LEASE TERM: Term is for 20 years, 15 years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges after 15 years.
