Description: Synopsis: U.S. Army Audit Agency, Knowledge Management Services System for Information Storage and Transmission (AAAsist) Support Program, Intranet, Extranet, and Document Management System. This is a Presolicitation Notice for Commercial Services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) at the Pentagon, on behalf of the Headquarters, Department of the Army, SAAG PMA, U.S. Army Audit Agency, intends to issue a solicitation to obtain qualified, skilled, analytical, and technical support to provide database management and system administration services for the U.S. Army Audit Agencys (AAA) Knowledge Management Branch for services, as a small business set-aside. These services will include support and enhancement of the AAA System for Information Storage and Transmission (AAAsist), the intranet site, extranet site, internet site, and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server document management system. Interested small businesses that are certified and qualified as a small business concern under NAICS code 541511 with a size standard of $25 million will be considered for award. Under this requirement, the contractor shall provide the AAA with those services necessary to maintain the AAAsist System, Intranet, Extranet, and Document Management System. A Firm-Fixed price type contract is contemplated. The period of performance is a base period of five months and four (4) option years. The place of performance will be the USAA Operations Center, 3101 Park Center Drive, Alexandria, Virginia 22302-1500. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. There will be an electronic solicitation release. Interested small businesses may download a copy of solicitation W91WAW-09-R-0010 on or about November 25, 2008, at http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/business_ops/business_ops.asp and it may also be viewed on the Federal Business Opportunity website. No hard copies should be mailed. No offers are being requested at this time. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All amendments to the solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunity website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments.
