- The 23rd Contracting Squadron/LGCA2 plans to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). This agreement will be set aside for small business concerns under the authority of FAR 19.502-1 for maintenance of existing fire breaks, creation of new fire breaks, mowing (bush hogging), road maintenance/minor road reconstruction, emergency debris cleanup, hazardous tree removal, burn pit construction, root raking/piling, roller drum chopping, machine planting of containerized longleaf pine (approximately 605 trees per acre), hand planting of containerized long leaf pine, bare root slash pine, or bare root loblolly pine (approximately 605 trees per acre), and machine planting of bare root slash or loblolly pine seedlings (approximately 605 trees per acre). All tree planting will occur on prepared site areas. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Interested sources must submit in writing, technical capabilities, pricing, and other information that demonstrates the ability to meet this requirement before the closing date specified below. This BPA will be for a period not to exceed 5 years. Price lists are to contain pricing for each unit specified in accordance with each job description. All price lists must be received no later than November 14, 2008, 1:00 PM EST. Please submit price list to A1C Gerard J.
